For individuals struggling with psychotic disorders, intense suicidal or homicidal ideation or an inability to take care of their basic needs, we recommend they seek care a higher level of care (typically physically seeing someone at a brick-and-mortar practice and ideally at an office where the providers are credentialed at the local hospital). This transition may be recommended by your provider if they deem appropriate and if that is the case, we'll be happy to connect you to other offices in your area.
